JEFFREY RABIN: Chronic headaches can make it impossible for someone to sustain work activity. Whether it's the day-to-day pain or the unpredictability of your days, it often becomes difficult to work when you're suffering from chronic migraines or ongoing headaches.

At the Law Firm of Jeffrey Rabin and Associates, we've worked for almost 40 years with people suffering from migraines and cluster headaches to try to obtain them disability benefits because of their inability to sustain work activity.

Social Security Disability benefits are supposed to be the safety net for people suffering from chronic illnesses. However, headache claims become very difficult to prove under the Social Security System because of the difficulty in proving the actual disease, and more important, the difficulty in proving the extent of your pain, fatigue and weakness because of the ongoing migraines or cluster headache problems.

At our law firm we know how to work with the doctors and the therapists and the counselors to put together the medical evidence that Social Security is looking for in trying to decide the severity of your headache problem.

Migraines can cause enough turmoil in your life; there is no need for you to fight the Social Security bureaucracy on your own. Our mission at the Law Firm of Jeffrey Rabin and Associates is to provide effective, aggressive and compassionate representation for people suffering severe medical problems who need assistance under the Social Security Act.
