A graduate of Creighton University School of Law, Laura holds bar admissions in both Illinois and Texas. She received a Bachelor of Arts from University of Wisconsin – Madison. She is passionate about making a difference for her clients and helping them to achieve their goals. Laura began her career with the Anti-Defamation League, focusing on tracking government extremists clogging the courts and analyzing hate crime statutes. As an associate attorney at the Heartland Law Firm, she helped parents, elderly and members of the community to draft estate plans to provide them with stability, important legal protections and peace of mind. Most recently, Laura has practiced in the area of consumer rights assisting clients with credit and debt issues. She transitioned to social security disability in the fall of 2014 and using her diverse background to help clients obtain their benefits. When Laura is not working, you can find her up at the crack of dawn running by Lake Michigan or taking a sunrise yoga class. She also enjoys cooking for her endlessly hungry children, reading fiction, and taking in art shows with her family.
